Salary: CAN scale 17-21 (£19,664 to £21,541 per annum, actual)
Working hours: 36 hours per week between 8.30am and 4.30pm, school term time (188 days) plus 2 staff preparation days at the start of the academic year, plus 10 at times to be agreed, to support the needs of the role (200 days in total).
Oaks Park High is looking for a brilliant all-rounder to join its busy office team. This is a varied role which will include reception, administration and first aid tasks. Reporting to the Communications and Administration lead, the successful candidate will need to have excellent communication skills – both written and verbal, be calm, organised and have a good rapport with students and adults alike.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills (verbal and written), have a very good working knowledge of IT, and a have high level of literacy. You must also be able to:
- Be flexible and very organised
- Be able to work independently and under pressure
- Demonstrate a commitment to the wellbeing of all students.
This is a busy and varied role as part of a dedicated team who pride themselves on providing an outstanding support service to the school, leadership team and governance. A calm, professional approach is a must, along with enthusiasm and a great sense of humour!
This is a non-teaching post which will give the successful candidates an excellent opportunity to work supporting both staff and students at a mixed comprehensive school for students aged 11-18 inclusive of a Specialist ASC Base.
Previous or similar experience is desirable, but not essential.
