16-19 Bursary

The 16 to 19 Bursary Fund provides financial support to help students overcome the specific financial barriers to participation they face so they can remain in education:

There are two types of Bursaries:

  • Bursaries for defined vulnerable groups
  • Discretionary bursaries which the school awards on an individual basis with payments in kind

Support for your child if eligible for the Discretionary Bursary could include text books, stationery, equipment, contributions of costs for educational trips, lunch allowance and more.

Vulnerable groups could be entitled to up to £1,200.

Please see the Bursary Policy & Eligibility documents for further information on the support that can be provided and to see if your child would be eligible.

Applications should be submitted during enrolment each academic year, however if you feel your child is eligible or you need some further information, please contact the Post 16 team who can answer your queries: post16@oaksparkhigh.org.uk
