Supportive Week - Monday 21st to Friday 25th November

We are organising our first ‘Supportive’ Week, promoting our Mantra value across the whole school. We aim to raise the importance and understanding of the being supportive, whilst highlighting the benefits of helping others.

Building positive and effective relationships is a key aim of our school, so will be celebrating students who are supportive and display compassion. Throughout the week we also aim to develop skills to support others, coordinating teambuilding activities during tutor time and lessons. We have also arranged for an inspiring external speaker to visit, a Performance Psychology Specialist, Martin O’Donnell will be talking to many of our KS3 students about character and building healthy relationships.

Our rewards system will be focused on supportive behaviour throughout the week, with parents also encouraged to reward their children with Class Chart achievements for supportive behaviour outside of school.

We are really excited about ‘Supportive Week’ and look forward to seeing our students thrive throughout.
