New Homework Hub
Posted: 12/05/26

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new Homework Hub, a supportive after-school initiative designed to help students develop their independent study skills and successfully complete their homework.
We recognise how important it is for students to build confidence in managing their learning independently, while also having access to guidance and support when needed. The Homework Hub will therefore be open every day after school and staffed by members of our school team who will be available to provide individual support to students.
Students attending the Homework Hub will have access to:
- Computers and internet access
- Printing facilities
- A quiet and supportive environment to complete homework and revision
Students are welcome to attend voluntarily whenever they feel they would benefit from additional time, resources, or support with their work.
In some instances, where homework has not been completed, teachers may refer students to the Homework Hub to ensure that outstanding work is completed. On student calendars, this may appear as a detention; however, the purpose of the session is supportive rather than punitive. Students will be able to leave once the outstanding work has been completed.
We hope that many students will take advantage of this valuable opportunity and view the Homework Hub as a positive and supportive resource to help them succeed.
