THE LOCALS: DIARIES - OPH ENTRIES WANTED

Sutton Council Archives are collecting diary entries from different types of people throughout the borough during this unusual time and Oaks Park High has agreed to take part in this important project. They will add our entries to Sutton’s Archive Collection so that historians of the future can learn what this time was like for people in our community. This project is open to all those that live, work or go to school in the borough and submissions from family and friends are also encouraged and gratefully accepted.

Keeping a diary or a journal is proven to reduce stress, manage anxiety and help prioritise problems, fears and concerns.

Entries can be as short or as long as you like. You can write about one single day, a week or keep a diary over a few weeks. Your diary can include photographs, drawings or even poetry. It can be handwritten or digital. You could even make a video diary (If other people are in the video, make sure that you have their permission). BE CREATIVE! There is a template attached to this email which you may wish to use, but this is optional. Anyone can take part in the project but in order for the diaries to be entered into the Sutton Council Archives, we will need parental permission. Once the diary entry is completed, please email to  diaryentries@oaksparkhigh.org.uk Please include your child’s name, class and age. We ask that the first ‘batch’ of diaries are emailed to this address by Friday 22nd May. T
